Breakfast with style

This is a good way to start a good day. Easy to prepare and yet very stylish.


I like my eggs half boiled so when I boil them for about 6 minutes (longer if you keep your eggs refrigerated), I mix black sesame (source of good fats, fibers, vitamin B iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus) with chilli flakes (stimulate metabolism, prevent fat storage and is an appetite control) and lemon zest (source of high amount of vitamin C and calcium). Season with black pepper and salt. This mix will show a very vibrant colour and give a fresh lemon smell...


I cracked my ready half boiled eggs in my favourite Turkish bowl (you should have a good feeling when you eat, so treat yourself well even when you are eating in your home) and I sprinkle my mixture over the eggs (left picture)


I do a little extra for my husband, with lightly seasoned and grilled on stove Sourdough Bread, sliced avocado and my colourful mix sprinkled over the avocado. For him, I scrambled the eggs because that is how he likes his egg (right picture)


The health benefits of black sesame, chilli flakes and lemon zest are so many, they include anti aging, reduced cancer risk, reduced blood pressure, improved digestion, boost immune function, stimulate metabolism, weight loss, anti anxiety, cleanse the liver and strengthen the bones.
